Olive Housekeeping Co. is a local, family-owned business built on integrity, service, excellence, generosity, and genuine care for people.

We’re committed to providing flexible, legal, W-2, living-wage employment for background-checked, highly trained women in our community. And we believe the goodness that comes through Olive shouldn’t stop with paying clients.

That’s why we created Olive Loves Wilmington—our way of blessing cancer patients, single moms, and families walking through a hard season with a peaceful, deeply cleaned home they didn’t have to lift a finger for.

Who Can Be Nominated?

  • Cancer Patients

    Individuals or families currently walking through cancer treatment who could use support, rest, and a break from the housework.

  • Low Income Elderly

    Individuals or couple who are financially burdened and genuinely do not have the capacity to cover the costs of their own cleaning needs and could use some housekeeping help.

  • Single Moms

    Single mothers carrying a heavy load who would be deeply helped by a reset in their home.

  • Families In Need

    Households facing hardship (medical, financial, emotional, or unexpected loss) where a clean, calm home would ease the burden.

  • Disclaimer

    *All nominees must live within our regular service area and be comfortable with a professional cleaning team in their home.

We receive more nominations than we can say “yes” to each month, but we keep all nominations on file for future consideration.

What’s Included in an Olive Loves Wilmington Clean

  • A detailed standard or reset-level clean of main living areas, kitchen, and bathrooms

  • Light tidying of surfaces so spaces feel peaceful, not chaotic

  • Floors vacuumed and mopped in primary living areas

  • Simple touches that make the home feel cared for and put back together

We customize each visit based on the home, needs, and time available—our goal is to lift the mental load and create room to breathe.
